Napoli and Juventus have reached an agreement to sign a cover letter for the future of Zido Zidane, according to a report in Italian daily La Repubblica.
Zidane has been at the centre of numerous investigations, including those into possible tax evasion, in Italy and abroad, and the former midfielder has been linked with a move away from Turin since the summer.
Juventus are currently favourites to sign the midfielder this summer, with a fee believed to be around €20m, but the Serie A giants are keen to keep him.
In their latest attempt to shore up the squad, Napoli have agreed to buy Zidan from Juventus for €25m, with the rest to come from the sale of Gonzalo Higuain, who has also joined Napoli.
Juve will need to raise the €30m they paid Napoli for Zidani, as they will not receive any revenue from the deal.
